The assignment was carried out by the combined teams of ITP Australia and ITP India as one of the studies to support Government of Tuvalu in its pursuit of their energy sector goals. The study focused on identifying and evaluating energy efficiency measures. ITPI was involved in eight sub-component studies that covered the auditing of buildings, industrial and commercial facilities, evaluation of electrical appliance efficiency and availability in the local market, and evaluation of the potential use of electric motorcycles, scooters and bicycles for individual transportation taking into account social and cultural factors.
