The objectives of the assignment were: analysis of current regulatory mechanisms of institutions that support energy efficiency (EE) in commercial buildings at the central level and identify the gaps; analysis of capacities of institutions that support EE in commercial buildings in the states and identify the gaps; and analysis, compilation and dissemination of information on existing fiscal and financing schemes. ITPI carries out the activities that included analysis of the current regulatory and financial mechanism related to ECBC at the central level and preparation of report, undertaking state visits for discussion with officials of state designated agencies and other local departments and identification of gaps for ECBC adoption; preparation of state wise reports, state and central level stakeholder meetings etc.
