The overall objective of the project was to reduce demand and energy consumption at CIPLA (A Chemical and Pharmaceutical Company) which had a contract demand of 2750 kVA. As part of the assignment, the activities carried out by ITPI included study of load curves for 60 days by analyzing historical data and conducting a preliminary energy audit, development and implementation of action plan, and devising methodologies for capacity building of maintenance team and energy efficiency tests to further increase energy efficiency.
